Why SAF Is Different
Sustainable Access Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing funding and scaling strategies to communities in developing countries, with an initial focus on Uganda.
By investing in local organizations in developing countries, we empower communities to address their unique challenges in a way that leads to lasting change, bountiful opportunities, and long-term thriving.
All the work we fund is co-designed and led by changemakers within their communities. We, along with our partners and donors, help bring the community’s vision to life by removing barriers to access and supporting scalability.
Many non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with a desire to help those in developing countries provide one-time investments. Although this aid can be helpful, it doesn’t result in a long-lasting solution that addresses the root issues and drives a meaningful transformation.
At SAF, we help local changemakers create sustainable change. Our goal is to dig deeper so we can help leaders solve problems with enduring impact and far-reaching benefits.
